I followed my dream....Do you want to follow yours???

For much of my adult life I longed to turn my hobby of singing into a way of life. In 2005 at the age of 54 I managed to do just that and set about establishing myself as a self contained entertainer.

I found my work by auditioning for agents but also by knocking on doors and finding my own gigs.

Having been in sales and marketing all of my life the next logical step was to include other artistes in my portfolio. With a little encouragement fro friends I launched Bob Oakley Entertainment in January 2008.

I am letting the business grow slowly but surely by initially working with a manageble number of venues. Now I am getting referals to new venues by word of mouth and I am looking forward to taking the agency forward in 2009.

I visit EVERY venue before agreeing terms. Likewise I will only work with atistes who I have auditioned, seen perform or who come highly recommended by other agents I work with and trust.

Each artiste is given TERMS OF BUSINESS and contracts for EVERY job.

All venues are sent CONTRACTS and TERMS OF BUSINESS on booking.

All artistes are required to produce proof of Public Liability Insurance and PAT Test Certificates.
