What's It All About
It was never my intention to become an agent as I have been enjoying myself as a self contained entertainer. However I have been appoached by a North Nottinghamshire management team who are working with pub chains and breweries to regenerate licenced premises.
As pubs are taken on, management will consider the business potential for development, and, where appropriate will consider ways of attracting customers back to the pubs. Obviously the smoking ban has had a huge effect but it is by no means the only reason venues are closing.
This organisation is taking a positive view and money is being invested in venue upgrades and in some cases they are even installing stages, PA equipment etc.
Over the coming months I am going to need a QUALITY STABLE of above average entertainers. Solo's, duo's and bands covering ALL styles of music.
I will of course be happy to work with established and reputable agents who may be willing to supply artistes for these venues.
Initially I would like a small group of artistes to work a circuit of growing venues, hopefully on a regular basis. I work on the theory that if an act has a good night then the audience will look forward to that artistes' return booking.
I need artistes who are READY TO WORK all acts must be prepared to showcase. More details to follow as the project grows.
